Cervical Cancer Journals
Cervix-cancer is a type of cancer, which arises from the cervix. This cancer mainly causes due to the abnormal growth (or) changes of cells on the cervix. This abnormal changes causes some symptoms, those include bleeding from the vagina, pain in the lower belly, pain during sex and vaginal discharge. Most cervical cancer is caused by a virus called human papillomavirus (HPV).The development of cervical cancer is typically slow and it occurs over a period of years. It can be treated successfully when it’s found during the early stages of cancer. Regular Pap tests can prevent cervical cancer in most women. Cervical cancer is a type of cancer that occurs in the cells of the cervix — the lower part of the uterus that connects to the vagina. Various strains of the human papillomavirus (HPV), a sexually transmitted infection, play a role in causing most cervical cancer.
