Prof. Xincun DOU was born on May 1981 in China. He obtained his Ph.D degree in materials physics and chemistry on Jun 2009 from Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and worked in Nanyang Technological University as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the following two years. He joined Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics & Chemistry, CAS on Nov 2011 as a full professor. Currently he is the principal investigator of Hazardous Chemicals Detection Lab.
His research is funded by various projects, such as "Hundred Talents Program" of the CAS and the NSFC. Prof. Dou has authored and co-authored 30 more SCI papers in Nano Lett., Chem. Mater., Nanoscale, J. Mater. Chem. C, etc and one book chapter. He also holds 7 China invention patents. He is also the executive editor of Journal of Thermodynamics & Catalysis.
His research interests mainly focus on functional nanomaterials and devices, ha zardous chemicals detection by optoelectronic sensing, fluorescence sensing and SERS method.
