Biography

Jose Castanheiro is Assistant Professor in Chemical Department in Evora University, Portugal. He is Chemical Engineer from FCT-Universidade Nova de Lisboa (1996, Portugal) and He received a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2004, Portugal). He has been developing works about conversion of renewable raw-material into chemical and fuel in the presence of heterogeneous catalysts. He has supervised MSc and PhD students. He is (co-)author of ca. 34 SCI papers, 90 communications in scientific meetings and 11 book chapter. He is Advisory International Editorial Board of Bulletin of Chemical Reaction Engineering & Catalysis.
