Biography

Guo Chen, MD, PhD, is Associate Professor of Anesthesiology, Director of E.N.T Anesthesia in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Care at the West China Hospital of Sichuan University. Now is the Member of trauma and emergency committee of Sichuan Province, the member of E.N.T Anesthesia of China society of Anesthesiology and the secretary and member of Association of physician anesthesiologists of Sichuan Province. She has published aroud 30 peer reviewed articles and two textbook. Dr. Chen's research focuses on testing the impact of perioperative hemodynamic optimization on postoperative outcome and protection of brain and heart. Dr. Chen received her medical degree from Sichuan University, West China Hospital in Chengdu, China. She completed her Anesthesiology residency at West China Hospital. Dr. Chen received her PhD in Anesthesiology from Sichuan University in 2009 and spent 2 years as a research fellow in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the University of California, Irvine, USA.
