Biography

Bioengineering at the University of North Carolina AT. He has earned his MD and PhD from Hannover Medical School, Germany. He has published several papers and book chapters and has accrued his teaching experience in a variety of international settings. Dr. Witte is the Global Site Coordinator of the NSF-Engineering Research Center for Revolutionizing Metallic Biomaterials and is a member of the European Society for Biomaterials, a member of the International Chinese Hard Tissue Society and a member of the International Bone Research Association.
