Biography

Fernanda C. Koyama is research scientist at Molecular Oncology Center of Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research at Hospital Sírio Libanês. Fernanda completed her Ph.D. doctorate at University of São Paulo in Biomedical Sciences Institute in 2012. During the Ph.D. program, she was visitor in collaboration to University of Central Florida working with proteomics. Currently, her research interests lie in the area of molecular aspects of neoadjuvant treatment resistance in rectal cancer focusing in NextGeneration Sequencing methodologies in attempt to uncover processes related to drug resistance.
