Dr. Feng Yan received PhD degree in physics from Nanjing University in 1997. Soon afterwards he became a Lecturer and then an associate professor at Physics Department of Nanjing University from February 2001 to September 2005. He worked at Engineering Department Electrical Engineering of Cambridge University as a Senior Research Associate. After a short stay at Physics Department of Imperial College London, he became a permanent staff Higher Research Scientist at National Physical Laboratory in UK. Then he joined Applied Physics Department of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as an assistant professor in september 2006. He has published more than 70 papers in refereed journals including Adv Mater Appl Phys Lett Biosensor Bioelectronics Phys Rev B etc.
