Felicity Watts obtained her BSC and PhD at University College London. This was followed by two post-doctoral positions (with Jean Beggs at Imperial college London and E Orr in the Dept. Genetics at University of Leicester). Since 1986 she has worked at the University of Sussex, where she is currently a Reader in Biochemistry in the Genome Damage and Stability Centre.
