  Effect of the Management of Mortality (Chicken Death) Risk on the Production of Commercial Broiler Farms in the City of Douala, Cameroon

  This research sought to assess the effect of the risk of chicken death on the production of commercial broiler farms in Douala, the economic capital of the Republic of Cameroon. More specifically this work aimed to assess the effect of (the risk of disease outbreak, the risk of heat or thermal stress and the risk of technical errors) on the production of commercial broiler farms in Douala and to make some suggestions to stakeholders of the poultry industry on how to monitor and control this risk. A sample of 254 poultry farm managers and their assistants in the city of Douala were selected using the purposive sampling technique to take part in this study.
