  The Framing of Economic Corruption in Ethiopian Media: Revealing or Concealing?

  This study aimed to examine the ‘key framing strategies’ used to depict ‘corruption issues’ in Ethiopian media. A mixed research approach has been employed using qualitative and quantitative content analysis and framing analysis as data gathering and analysis methods. The study focused on two state and two private media. The news stories and articles were gathered in the specified time frame and evaluated using checklists of ‘episodic’ and ‘thematic’ frames.
