  The array biosensor was invented to investigate multiple samples at the same time for multiple analytes. The detector used a customary sandwich bioassay format:  Antigen-specific “capture” antibodies were immobilized in an exceedingly burled array on the surface of a tabular conductor and sure analyte was later detected exploitation fluorescent tracer antibodies.
