    Urbanization is a global phenomenon that has transformed the landscape of many countries, including South Korea. As urban areas expand and rural landscapes evolve into concrete jungles, the effects on local wildlife become increasingly evident. The Barn Swallow (H. rustica) is one such species that has experienced the consequences of urbanization. In this essay, we will explore the intricate relationship between urbanization and the nesting quantity of Barn Swallows in South Korea. The Barn Swallow is a well-known migratory bird species found across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. It is known for its distinctive forked tail, vibrant plumage, and remarkable aerial acrobatics.
