  Dolutegravir-Associated Hyperglycemia in People Living with Human Immune-Deficiency Virus: A Cross Sectional Study

  Introduction: Diabetes mellitus is being related with developing communicable and non-communicable diseases. Patients on highly active antiretroviral therapy are at increased risk of developing diabetes mellitus than those who are treatment Naïve. Hyperglycemia has been mentioned as the side effect of some ART regimens. We assessed the incidence of hyperglycemia among patients taking Dolutegravir-based regimen in ACSH. Method: A hospital-based prospective cross sectional study was conducted. The total sample size was 423. A simple random sampling technique was employed using excel function to select study participants.
