    Palliative care, a specialized field focused on providing holistic support to individuals with serious illnesses, has seen a growing recognition of the integral role that Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) play in ensuring quality end-of-life care. This article synthesizes existing literature to explore the multifaceted role of APNs in palliative care, shedding light on their contributions, challenges, and the evolving nature of their responsibilities. Historically, palliative care has primarily been associated with physicians.
