Zhenyang received the B.S degree from Peking University in 1995 and the Ph.D. degree in condensed matter physics from Institute of Physicsïüà âChinese Academy of Science, Beijing, China in 2001. From April 2001 to December 2003 and from May 2005 to December 2005, I worked in Institute for Semiconductor Physics, Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austriaïüà âand from April 2004 to April 2005, I worked in Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research, Stuttgart, German, as a post-doctoral research fellow. Since 2006, I worked in Department of Physics, Fudan University, Shanghaiïüà âChina, as an associate professor. My research interest focus on controlled formation of varieties of nanostructures on Si substrates, including nanowires and nanodots of GeSi, compound semiconductor and diluted magnetic semiconductor, and on exploration of the unique properties and the applications of those nanostructures. I has authored or coauthored 38 journal articles and 2 book chapters.
