Xichuan Lin received his Ph.D degree in Intelligent Mechanical Systems Engineering from Kagawa University in Japan in 2012. Now he is working in the Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence Lab. in School of Automation, UESTC.Dr. Lin now has 14 academic publications including three SCI international journals, 10 IEEE conference papers and one book chapters-“Development of a Vectored Water-Jet-Based Spherical Underwater Vehicle (in Autonomous Underwater Vehicles, INTECH-Open Access Publisher, Oct. 2011)”. He was the conference committee of IEEE ICMA 2009-2011 and IEEE/ICME CME 2011. He was also the reviewer for international conferences (IEEE ICMA, IEEE/ICME CME, IJMA, etc.).His research experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
