Biography

Dr. Vijay Kumar Garlapati has received his PhD in Bioprocess Engineering / Industrial Biotechnology & Biofuels from IIT Kharagpur, India. Currently, he is working as a Assistant Professor in Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat, HP,India. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as teacher and supervisor for Doctoral, Master's and Bachelor's studies. His research attributes has included for filing of 4 patents, in 21 International Journals, as two book chapters and in seven confererence pesentations. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as A4U Postdoctoral Fellowship (Spain), MHRD and UGC fellowships from Indian Government. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like African Journal of Biotechnology, Journal of Biotechnology, Bioinformatics & Bioengineering, Bioengineering & Bioscience and Trends in Biotechnological Research & expert Reviewers for journals like Food Research International (Elsevier), Journal of Bioprocess Engineering and Biorefinery, International Journal of Macromolecules (Elsevier), Food and Bioprocess Engineering (Springer) and IEEE Conference (IEEE) series. He is a member of World Bioenergy Association (WBA), European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB), Biotech Research Society of India (BRSI), Association of Microbiologists of India (AMI) and Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE).
