Valdir Florencio da Veiga Junior completed MSc and PhD in Organic Chemistry from Institute of Chemistry, Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with postdoctoral degrees in Product Chemistry Natural Sciences of the Amazon from the Department of Chemistry, Federal University of Amazonas. Currently, he is Associate Professor and the head of research group on chemistry of Biomolecules of the Amazon. He has published over 110 articles in various journals, 27 book chapters and 171 publications. He has more than 1000 quotations and worked in over 200 events.
