Satinder K. Brar

Biography

 Dr. Satinder K. Brar is Assistant Professor at Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique, Eau, Terre et Environnement (INRS-ETE), University of Québec, Québec, Canada. She has received a PhD in Water Sciences from INRS-ETE in 2007. Earlier, she has completed her M.Tech in Environmental Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, Mumbai, India and M.Sc in Organic Chemistry from Pune University. She is a recipient of the ASCE State-of-the-Art of Civil Engineering award (2007) and ASCE Rudolf gold medal (2008) for her originality of the research contributions. She is serving as reviewer on several reputed journals (at least 30 publications/year, Water Research, PPHTRWM, Journal of Hazardous Materials, World Journal of Microbiology and Biotechnology, Desalination, Bioresource Technology, Chemosphere, Waste Management, among others). She has published at least 100 articles in peer reviewed journals and edited three books with several book chapters
