Biography

Professor Rodger Charlton is a Family Physician in the UK, working as a Director of Primary Care Education at Nottingham Medical School and an Honorary Professor of Medical Education at Swansea College of Medicine, Wales. He has a keen interest in family medicine and primary care education within the continuum of undergraduate teaching through to postgraduate family medicine training. He has a particular interest in end-of-life care and the considerable challenge of caring for a patient in their own home and how best to facilitate this for a patient ensuring their dignity is maintained together with a 'good death'.
