Priyanka Maurya has done M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IITR), India and PhD in Biotechnology from National Institute for Cellular Biotechnology (NICB), Dublin City University, (DCU) Ireland. During her professional career, she worked in the area of biomarker discovery and bioprocessing using OMICS tools at Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology (IGIB), India; Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), India; NICB, Dublin City University, Ireland; Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV), Republic of Slovakia and Institute of Applied Microbiology (IAM), BOKU, Austria. During this period, she observed tremendous career possibilities in area of biotechnology where trained/skilled work-force was a limitation, though there is a long queue of job seeker biotechnologists. Besides, there are area in field of biotechnology (like science management and scientific writing) where only countable individuals were available. This necessitated her to diverge her efforts to full-fill this gap and help biotechnologist to grow beyond scale in their professional career. Henceforth she accepted the challenge and contributed to conceptualize Shine Biotech and serving as Managing Director at this organization.
