Professor of Statistics in the Group of Probability and Statistics, School of Mathematics, The University of Manchester, United Kingdom. I got my PhD in Statistics from Hong Kong Baptist University in 1996, MSc in Statistics from the Institute of Applied Mathematics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1987, and BSc in Mathematics from Yunnan University of China in 1983.
