Biography
Gautam is currently a Research Fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Technologies (IBTec) within the School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences (SECMS) at Auckland University of Technology (AUT), New Zealand. He completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from AUT in 2017 to add to his M.Eng.St. degree from AUT in 2013 and B.Tech (Hons) in 2012 from India. His research interests focus on biomedical engineering, specifically designing smart sensor systems for monitoring biopotentials such as ECG and bioimpedance. Involved in sensor simulation and design, data acquisition and processing, mathematical modelling and dielectric properties of biomaterials.
