Assistant Professor at Medical Engineering Department, University of Science and Technology, Omdurman, Sudan. His current research interests include LC devices, biomedical imaging, and plasmonic sensing. He has published more than 200 journal articles, 10 book chapters, coauthored two books, and has more than 15 patents. He is a Fellow of the IoP and the SPIE. He is an Associate Editor of the SPIE Journal of NanoPhotonics, medical science.
