Broadly speaking, my research interest is brain development and its impact on cognitive function. I have studied developmental processes in the context of typical circumstances, as well as atypical circumstances such as congenital disorders. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology (2005) and research master’s degree in developmental psychology (2007) from Leiden University in the Netherlands under the supervision of Dr. Eveline Crone and Dr. Linda van Leijenhorst. The research projects I worked on examined changes in cognitive functions such as decision-making, from childhood to early adulthood in typically developing children and teenagers.
