Currently he is working as Lecture in the Department of Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering, Debre Tabor University, Debre Tabor, Amhara, Ethiopia. His research interest mainly includes Irrigation Engineering, Water Resources Development and Management, Groundwater, Hydrology, Climate Change, GIS and Remote Sensing.
