Biography
Sintayehu Adefires Abebe was born in 1989 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He obtained his Bsc. in Irrigation and Water Resources Engineering from Hawassa University, Ethiopia (2011) and Masters in Water Resources Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India (2014). He worked in Debre Markos university as assistant lecturer (Sept. 2011-Jun. 2012) and as lecturer (Sept. 2014-Sept. 2019). His research interests mainly focus on areas of hydrologic analysis and modeling, stochastic modeling, hydraulics, application of GIS and Remote sensing in water resources.
