Thyroid-Stimulating hormone (TSH) is a critical hormone produced by the pituitary gland that plays a central role in regulating thyroid function. This article provides a comprehensive overview of TSH, including its production, mechanism of action, and clinical significance in various thyroid disorders. The article explores the diagnostic value of measuring TSH levels and discusses its role in the evaluation, management, and monitoring of thyroid-related conditions. Additionally, the impact of TSH on thyroid hormone synthesis, secretion, and feedback regulation is examined.
