Zbigniew Oziewicz was born in Wilno, Lithuania, in 1941. He is currently acting as Professor of National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He helped organize an underground movement for Polish independence in 1982 and won Order of Poland Reborn medal for extraordinary and distinguished service to his native Poland.
