Prof. Dra. Thereza Christina Lopes Coutinho has received her PostDoctoral degree from University of São Paulo, Brazil in the field of Oral Biology - Cariology and her PhD from University of São Paulo, Brazil in the field of Pediatric Dentistry. Currently, she is working as Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry in Fluminense Federal University, Niterói, Brazil. She has successfully completed her Administrative responsibilities as Pediatric Dentistry Coordinator and she is Head of ZEUS Research Group and Member of The Research and Ethics Committee of Medical School in Fluminense Federal University, Niterói, Brazil. Her primary research interests include Cariology, Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics and Dental Materials. She has received several awards and honors, such as: 1st place in the Kolynos Research Prize. She is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Journal of Socialomics and Journal of Updates in Paediatric Dentistry & expert Reviewer for journals like Journal of Trauma and Treatment, Journal of Updates in Paediatric Dentistry and Dentristry: Current Research. She has published more than thirty-two articles in peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of International Association for Dental Research, European Organisation for Caries Research and other Brazilian Dental Committees
