Biography

Dr. Luca Nocco received the degree in Law from the Pisa University, the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSA) “diploma di licenza” and the PhD in Comparative Law from SSSA. He has been adjunct professor of Private Comparative Law (60 h; 6 ECTS credits) at the Livorno Naval Academy and adjunct professor of Private Law (20 h; 2 ECTS credits) at the University of Pisa, Medical School. He received the national habilitation as Associate Professor of Private Law. He is author of beyond sixty scientific publications (https://www.lider-lab.sssup.it/lider/dbfiles/allegati/cv_Luca_Nocco_gennaio_2015.pdf). He is currently researcher at SSSA where he coordinates the Osservatorio sul Danno alla Persona (http://www.lider-lab.sssup.it/lider/odp/) as well as several scientific projects in the field of Health Law. He is referee for several national and international scientific journals and member of the editorial staff of the Rivista Italiana di Medicina Legale e del Diritto in Campo Sanitario (http://www.iusexplorer.it/Rivista/Rivista_Italiana_di_Medicina_Legale?area=riv_penale_processo).
