Biography

Anne Mc LEER was born and educated in France. She obtained a PhD in Biological and Physiological Sciences in 2004 from the University of Lyon. She is an Associate Professor at the Medicine Faculty in Grenoble, France where she teaches Cytology and Histology. She is also the head of the Molecular Pathology Unit in the Cytology and Pathology Department at the Grenoble University Hospital. As part of a national network of hospital molecular genetics platforms set up by the French National Cancer Institute (INCa, Institut National du Cancer) and the French Ministry of Health, she performs innovative molecular testing for cancer patients. She has a strong background in molecular biology, and her translational research activities focus on the molecular characterization of lung cancer.
