The management of these complex cases invariably necessitates a multidisciplinary approach, integrating aggressive surgical intervention with meticulously tailored antimicrobial therapy to combat the underlying infection and mitigate further damage [1].

The advent and refinement of novel imaging techniques, including positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT) scans, have demonstrably improved the diagnostic accuracy for spinal infections, particularly within the immunocompromised patient population where clinical presentations can be subtle or atypical.
