The heterogeneity of vasculitis presents significant challenges in terms of disease management and treatment response. Precision medicine, which focuses on tailoring therapeutic strategies to individual patients based on their unique characteristics, has the potential to revolutionize the approach to vasculitis management. This article explores the concept of precision medicine in vasculitis and its implications for improving patient outcomes. Precision medicine in vasculitis involves the identification of genetic and molecular biomarkers that can guide treatment decisions. Genetic studies, such as genome-wide association studies have identified genetic variants associated with increased susceptibility to vasculitis or specific subtypes.
