Synthetic Biology Innovations

Synthetic biology is a new interdisciplinary area that involves redesigning organisms for useful purposes by engineering them to have new abilities. Synthetic biology combines chemical synthesis of DNA with growing knowledge of genomics to enable researchers for a speed manufacture catalogued DNA sequences and assemble them to become new genomes.
