Scientific-journals-on-pharmacokinetics
Pharmacokinetics is the study of the absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of drugs in the body. Just describe what the body does to a drug. Pharmacokinetics mainly concerns the analysis of the concentration and availability rate of the drugs at the required receptor site. pharmacokinetic analysis is generally not limited to the parent molecule itself, but also to the identified metabolites, whether active or inactive.
International Journal of Pharmacokinetics serves as an authoritative forum for an overview of the latest advances in the design and conduct of pharmacokinetic studies for the next generation of pharmaceutical products. Coverage encompasses the full scope of this interdisciplinary field, from preclinical and clinical studies on single drugs and classes of drugs, to the exploration of the mechanisms and techniques affecting these studies. Where appropriate, the review presents information from related fields of activity, such as pharmacogenetics, pharmacodynamics, toxicology studies and pharmacometry.
By publishing high-impact journals, perspectives and original research covering all aspects of this crucial area, the International Journal of Pharmacokinetics addresses the needs of all professionals in the field of drug development, both in academia and in industry. Each issue also includes editorials and interviews, presenting an informed opinion and commentary on current topics and topics of current debate.
