Research-articles-on-pharmacokinetics

Pharmacokinetics is currently defined as the study of the time course of the absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of drugs. Clinical pharmacokinetics is the application of pharmacokinetic principles to the safe and effective therapeutic  management of drugs in an individual patient. The main objectives of clinical pharmacokinetics include improving the efficacy and decreasing the toxicity of a patient's drug therapy. The development of strong correlations between drug concentrations and their pharmacological responses has enabled clinicians to apply pharmacokinetic principles to real patient situations. Of particular interest are changes in kinetic parameters with dose (dose-dependent kinetics) within the recommended clinical dosage range. Where appropriate, other information may include influences of demographic characteristics such as age, gender and race, the influence of certain diseases, the influence of external factors such as meals or other medicines ( pharmacokinetics of drugs), the binding of drugs to biological constituents such as plasma proteins and red blood cells. , studies carried out in specific patient populations and studies carried out under conditions of therapeutic use. The review articles are a summary of the current state of knowledge on a particular research subject. They analyze or discuss research previously published by scientists and academics rather than reporting new research results. The review article takes the form of systematic reviews and literature reviews and is a form of secondary literature. Systematic reviews determine an objective list of criteria and find all previously published original research articles that meet the criteria. They then compare the results presented in these articles. Literature reviews, on the other hand, provide a summary of what the authors believe to be the best and most relevant previous publications. The concept of "" journal article "" is distinct from the concept of peer-reviewed literature. An exam may be peer reviewed, and an exam may not be peer reviewed.
