Pseudomonas Viridiflava

Pseudomonas strains with an atypical LOPAT profile (where LOPAT is a progression of determinative tests: L, levan creation; O, oxidase creation; P, pectinolitic movement; An, arginine dihydrolase creation; and T, tobacco hypersensibility) can be viewed as developing pathogens in the Principality of Asturias (Spain), where they have been causing, since 1999, serious harm in any event three systematically inconsequential plantation plants of agronomic significance: basic bean (Phaseolus vulgaris), kiwifruit (Actinidia deliciosa), and lettuce (Lactuca sativa). These strains are basically separated by creation of yellowish mucoid material in hypersucrose medium, utilized for the levan test, and by a variable pectinolytic action on various potato assortments. The atypical life forms were distinguished as Pseudomonas viridiflava dependent on their 16S rRNA groupings.
