Proteinuria is also called as albuminuria or urine albumin. Proteinuria is a condition in which the urine shows the presence of an abnormal amount of protein in our body. This particular condition is often a sign of kidney disease or kidney infection. Kidneys with some damaged filters may let the proteins like albumin leaks from the blood into the urine. This condition doesn't normally exhibit any symptoms but can be detected by the routine urinalysis process.
