Periodontitis Impact Factor

The chronic inflammation of the tissues of the teeth that support them (periodontium) is initiated by the bacterial biofilm(dental plague) present in them is called Periodontitis. This damages periodontal ligaments and the bone structures around the teeth. Usually periodontitis  can be observed in those individuals that has diabetic problems. They are more vulnerable to periodontitis and hence are harmed by it. Periodontitis can be also observed in the people that  have cardio vascular diseases (CVD). Unfortunately evidences prove that the periodontitis can affect cardiac disorders and worsen them in both theory and also in actual humans with cardiac disorders. This makes it a very difficult task to prevent periodontitis from worsening of cardio vascular diseases and diabetes.
