Pathogen Variants

Organisms which are responsible for causing a disease or an infection are called as pathogens. These pathogens are also called as infectious agents or germs. Term pathogen was first used in 1880s, to mention about the infectious microorganisms for agents such as bacteria virus protozoa fungus or viroid. Study of these pathogens causing diseases is called as pathology. While parasitology is the scientific study of parasites and organisms which host them. Changing the version from one form to another form to manipulate with the situation is called as variance. Pathogen variance refers to changing the form of pathogen from one to other in order to cause disease to organism. Genetic alteration that occurs in pathogens increases the individual susceptibility to a certain disease or disorder.
