Nursing Practices In Health Care

Nursing is a health profession that focuses on caring for people and their families to help them recover from illness and maintain an optimal quality of life. Nursing science is a basic science that deals with multiple aspects of nursing such as: nurse-patient interaction, nursing theories, models and methodologies. Nursing and health care are inextricably linked, as both are aimed at achieving optimal patient health. Health sciences are comprehensive subjects, which include studies in various disciplines such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy and health economics. Health care science encompasses a wide range of skills, from tissue analysis to medical illustration; however, it is normally subdivided into three broad categories: life sciences, physiological sciences and clinical engineering, and physical sciences.
