Neonatal Sepsis Top Open Access

The bacterial infection of the newborn's blood is known as neonatal sepsis. Neonatal sepsis is specifically an infection that occurs during the first month of life. It can lead to serious complications in the future if not treated early. The infection may be due to contact of the newborn with bacteria during pregnancy, delivery, or early after birth. Early-onset sepsis may be due to infection of the mother, while late-onset sepsis is due to exposure to the environment. The main open access publications are peer-reviewed academic journals from the Journal of Autacoids & Hormones.
