Magnetic Resonance Imaging Open Access Journals

Medical imaging technique in radiology which is used to take pictures of anatomy of body and physiological processes of the body, using magnetic fields, its gradients and radio waves for image generation is called as Magnetic Resonance Imaging. It uses a large magnet, with radio waves and a computer for creating a detailed, cross sectional image of internal organs and structures of the body. It resembles a large tube with a table, allowing the person to slide in for scanning. It differs from that of CT scans and X-rays, as this do not use potentially harmful ionizing radiation. It is used to find any anomalies, cysts, tumours, cancer screening, injuries and abnormalities of organs, certain types of heart problems, liver diseases etc., Magnetic Resonance Imaging open access journals allows us to learn more about this imaging process and its advancements and how this revolutionized medical imaging since its invention.
