Knitting is a method by which yarn is employed to create a textile or fabric; and can be used in many types of garments. Knitting may be finished by hand or by machine. Knitting creates stitches: loops of yarn in a row, either flat or in the circular. There are usually many mobile stitches on the knitting needle at one time. The knitting process generally involves continuously interlinking or knotting series of loops of yarn using needles. Journals focus on a field of knitting. Unlike newspapers and magazines, journals are deliberate for an academic or technical audience, not general readers.
