Journal Of Randomized Control Trials

Randomized controlled trial is a type of clinical trial, in which people subjected under clinical trials are randomly selected for the treatment or intervention. The test treatment and a control treatment are simultaneously evaluated in two or more arms of the trial, with enrolment into each arm determined by a random process that ensures freedom from bias. They have been the gold-standard of clinical trials for decades. Nothing more clearly point outs the key role of an Randomized controlled trail in modern clinical research than the placement of this specific research method at the top of the list of levels of evidence in evidence-based medicine.Clinical trials assessing the effect of vitamin D supplementation on bone mineral density (BMD) have yielded conflicting results.Consequently, the researcher's role is one of observing the outcome of these exposures. The most powerful type of experimental study is the randomized controlled trial.
