Innovations In Cytogenetics

The advancement of cytogenetics as a specialty within the life sciences is illustrated, with special consideration to the early history of human cytogenetics. Present form of conventional cytogenetics is arrived over years from accidental identification of correct human chromosomes, Enhancements in the resolution of chromosome analysis has followed closely the introduction of innovative technology. Journal of Genetics and DNA Research is an open access peer reviewed journal aims at the identification of chromosomal abnormalities by microscopic observation of metaphase chromosomes and publishes high impact articles related to cytogenetics, DNA research, medical and many more, accepts new technologies like chromosomal microarrays and next generation DNA sequencing have considerably increased the number of birth defects and genetic syndromes.
