Annular pancreas is a rare condition that outgrows some of the pancreatic tissue and surrounds duodenum. This extra tissue originates from the pancreatic ear. It causes duodenum constriction thus blocking the flow of food to the remaining portion of the intestines. The prevalence of annular pancreas incidence is 1 in 12,000 to 15,000 newborns. It normally happens because of irregular or extra development of the embryology. But some cases of adults were also reported. Early symptoms of dysfunction include polyhydramnios, low birth weight and immediate after birth feeding intolerance. A middle-aged lady with duodenal obstruction and gastric ulcer identified in the first instance. Her symptoms were relieved by anterior H. S. V. with posterior truncal vagotomy and duodeno-jejunostomy isoperistalis. A young girl in the second case faced duodenal obstruction, extreme wasting and gross dehydration.
