IgA nephropathy, also referred to as Berger’s disease, could be a disease that causes damage to the small filters inside the kidneys. Proteins have many various jobs in your body. IgA may be a protein that helps you fight infections. The people who are having IgA nephropathy, these proteins develops and form clumps inner to the kidneys’ tiny filters known as glomeruli. These clumps of proteins damage the glomeruli. This damage can cause chronic nephropathy and might cause kidney failure/ESRD. IgA nephropathy is one in all the foremost common kidney diseases. Although people with any age, gender as well as ethnicity can be effected with this disease and also it is is highly common in men compared to women. it's also more common in whites and Asians than it's among other races and ethnicities.
