Health equity arises from access to the social determinants of health, specifically from wealth, power and prestige. Individuals who have consistently been bereft of these three determinants are significantly disadvantaged from health inequities, and face worse health outcomes than those that are ready to access certain resources. it's not equity to easily provide every individual with an equivalentresources; that might be equality. so as to realize health equity, resources must be allocated supported a private need-based principle.
